'God is in you, as you'

I have been recently thinking over the quote 'God is in you, as you' from Eat Pray Love (exceptionally good film - it is really worth watching) and I found it quite inspiring. I mean, a lot of the time I feel, as a Christian, that I have to kind of put on that persona of the 'Christian girl' but this quote suggests that we don't have to pretend to God. God loves us for our strengths and weaknesses. When I realised this it really struck me. Just because sometimes you lose your temper it does not make you a bad Christian. You don't have to be perfect to be loved by God. So don't feel you have to do as everyone else does. For instance, a lot of people I know lead worship and worship through song but I can't really sing too well - or at all. But I have come to realise that there are other ways to worship and that you don't have to follow everyone else and be the norm in order to be close to God. Sometimes the best thing for you is not the same as everyone else. Sometimes you have to listen to God and follow Him instead of everyone else.
God is in you, as you.
