Music

Music. We all love it. Whether it is having a secret love for that cheesy tune or having a mini celebration when you discover a cracker of an artist, music is always close to our hearts. So, today I wanted to share with you a few little beauties which have always been close to me so, if you like the same music as me, you may be able to discover a new artist or song. And, of course, be sure to share your songs or artists with me!

I really do think these songs (and their artists) are great!
The first is by a London based artist called Dog Ears. He is also a member of the band Special Benny but, personally, I prefer his work as a single artist. Also, Dog Ears stars in Horrible Histories which is, admittedly, a brilliant show...although I am a bit above the target age of 9-12. Awkward. But I am a history geek so it is kind of acceptable...isn't it?!
Moving swiftly on (if the Taylor Swift song had been next that would have been a slick opener)! The next song is by Edwin Mccain and is the accoustic version. I just adore this! I heard it in the film A Cinderella Story and fell in love with it. It is just so gentle and beautiful!
The next song is by The Band Perry who are, supposedly, American (or Canadian?) and are a family band - sister and 2 brothers - are have a lovely country vibe. I love their laid back songs and their cool country style - cowboy boots, whoo! Their other song If I Die Young is just as great - check it out!
The final song is by none of than Taylor Swift. She doesn't really need an introduction as she is so well know but she really is fabulous! I love how she has made country music popular and how she sings everything you feel. Great artist.
Those are a few of my favourites, what are yours? I would love to hear your favourite songs.
